About Rajshahi Division of Bangladesh

  RAJSHAHI ABOUT Department of Rajshahi in east of Bangladesh. It is located in the area of 18196 square kilometers.  The geographical area of Rajshahi is called Barendra land.  There are 8 districts in this division namely -   Bogra, Natore, Pabna, Rajshahi, Joypurhat, Chapainowabgonj, Naogaon and Sirajgonj . Among the 11 sectors of the War of Liberation, Rajshahi was in Sector 7. Literacy rate among the districts is 31.95%. The Rajshahi Division is called a drought prone area.                                                       Rangpur ABOUT Department of Rangpur in north-west of Bangladesh It is located in the area of 16317 square kilometers. The geography of Rangpur region includes the Teras region of Plaisostein. There are 8 districts in this division namely - Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari , Rangpur, Kurigram, Dinajpur , Thakurgaon, Panchagar and Gaibandha .  Among the 11 sectors of the War of Liberation, Rangpur was in Sector 6. Literacy rate among the districts is 33.85%. The country's first organic tea garden was established in 'Kazi & Kazi' tea estates in Panchagarh in 2000.
