ABOUT

Department of Rajshahi in east of Bangladesh. It is located in the area of 18196 square kilometers. The geographical area of Rajshahi is called Barendra land. There are 8 districts in this division namely - Bogra, Natore, Pabna, Rajshahi, Joypurhat,Chapainowabgonj,Naogaon and Sirajgonj. Among the 11 sectors of the War of Liberation, Rajshahi was in Sector 7. Literacy rate among the districts is 31.95%. The Rajshahi Division is called a drought prone area.The highest and the good mango in Bangladesh is produced here.

Mohasthangarh

BOGRA - Mohasthangarh (It is a testimony of the history of Bengal from the fourteenth century BC to the next fifteen years. Here are the ruins of Pundranagar, the oldest and largest city of Bangladesh.), Behula Lokhindorer Basor Ghar (Behula is the protagonist in the Shiva Purana at the Manasamangal genre of Bengali medieval epics).

Hardinge Bridge

PABNA - Hardinge Bridge (The only railway that is located on the river Padma. It is named after Lord Hardinge , who was the Viceroy of India from 1910 to1916.It was complete in 1912 and trains started moving on it in 1915.), Sugarcane Research Center, Mental Hospital ( It was established in 1957 by the then Civil Surgeon of Pabna District).
