ABOUT
Department of Rajshahi in east of Bangladesh. It is located in the area of 18196 square kilometers. The geographical area of Rajshahi is called Barendra land. There are 8 districts in this division namely - Bogra, Natore, Pabna, Rajshahi, Joypurhat,Chapainowabgonj,Naogaon and Sirajgonj. Among the 11 sectors of the War of Liberation, Rajshahi was in Sector 7. Literacy rate among the districts is 31.95%. The Rajshahi Division is called a drought prone area.The highest and the good mango in Bangladesh is produced here.
